Paths for All health walk finder

An online resource, for desktop, tablet and mobile platforms, that will effectively provide information about health walks in Scotland for both the public and professionals.

 

This will enable more people to adopt active behaviour and support the key role Paths for All has in delivering the Scottish Government’s Physical Activity Strategy and Physical Activity Implementation Plan. http://www.pathsforall.org.uk/

‘Sportable’ – Find local all-ability sports clubs and groups

A searchable online map- and list-based tool that enables disabled people to find local all-ability sports groups in their area. The website will leverage information on the AccessAdvisr Community Pages (www.accessadvisrcommunity.net); which our team has already brokered for Milton Keynes, Nottingham and Lowestoft; and display it on OS Open Layers maps. UrbanStroll - get prompted to go walking in your lunch hour

Speaking from personal experience I have my lunch break 'Al-Desko' far too often, and I don't think I am alone based on discussions with my friends and colleagues. StationWalks – Accessible Sustainable Walks

A website that people can use to find information about walks from UK railway station. A searchable online map- and list-based tool that enables people to find linear or circular walking routes from a given train station. The site will display nicely on both tablets and PCs, and we may seek to develop a mobile app at a later date.
