Gathering and communicating community preferences for local planning using OS base maps.
This will enable and encourage community participation in the planning process and therefore have an impact on community development and social capital in the short term and the physical development of communities in the medium to long term.
a web application that displays bus, train and other public transport schedules to visualise present routes and schedules and also enter proposed or amended services to see potential overlaps and service and modal connections and their potential impact. This will allow communities to design services for themselves with the aid of substantive modelling data.

Usually these events are known to the "locals" but visitors and even people in the next street or community may no nothing of these events.
My idea is to combine a web based diary with OS Maps so everyone can see what's on and where.
GLUE stands for GeoLocated United Enterprise. GLUE could also bring together and bind communities. GLUE will be a collection of local social networks, with mapping at its core. A crowdsourcing tool for kick-starting community projects. My plan is for a web-site and mobile application.
